A story to share...

Angel and Adrian are a very very loving couple…wherever you go…you would be able to see them just anywhere…together…holding hands…walking side by side…slowly admiring the environment around them…

Then a week later…it was Angel’s birthday. Adrian bought a lovely ring which was engraved “Adrian & Angel 4eva” … Adrian could not really afford an expensive restaurant after he bought that ring. He brought her to the stalls by the road side that night. It was not an expensive meal but Angel was happy enough because Adrian was always by her side…

He then brought her to a beach nearby…and he took out a bottle and asked her to write down her wish on a piece of paper. After doing so, she inserted it in the bottle. They both buried it in the sand near a coconut tree. Then they spent the night together by the beach till dawn breaks.

Directly the next day, Adrian has disappeared. Angel couldn’t find him nor contact him. She was worried. She sat down in a corner and thought where would he be…Then she recalled what he said the day before by the beach…”I really enjoy all the time I had spent with you…and I’m fortunate to have found you. You meant the whole world to me…I love you, Angel…”

Tears rolled down from her cheeks, she started to cry out loud. Her whole world sunk into the darkness. She went home after that, sad and puzzled. Then her mother told her a letter arrived today especially for her. She hurriedly took the letter and yes! It’s from Adrian! It’s his handwriting!

She read the letter in her room. Her smile lasted for only a few seconds when suddenly her expression changed. Her eyes were wide opened while reading the letter and tears drifted down again. The content of the letter is…

Dear Angel,

I had done the worst things in my life, which was to have met you. You had changed my entire life. And it became worst day by day. I couldn’t forget what you had done towards me. I regretted about this. I want to break up with you. Don’t find nor contact me anymore. I won’t answer your call or see you forever in my life. Forget me as I am not worth to be remembered. I hate you…

Angel totally broke down…Lying on her bed helplessly…she cried her heart out. Why would Adrian write such kind of letter…Why has he changed so drastically…He said he loves me the day before and now it is totally the opposite thing. She was confused. She cried solemnly and slowly fell asleep.
Few months had passed; Angel has regained her old self back. However, that deep scar will always remain in her heart. She never forgets him like he told her to. She never fell in love with anyone again. She continued her normal live…alone.

Until that very day came…Angel received a phone call. It was from Adrian’s parents. Suddenly, Angel was stunned by what she was told. Without thinking any further, she rushed off. She arrived in a room in a local hospital. There she saw Adrian, all fixed up with those wire things…could even hardly breathe nor open his eyes. His parents by his side sobbed. They slowly went out leaving them both alone.

Angel approached him and looked at him. She only said one word, “Why?” .
Adrian slowly speak out, “I know I don’t have the right to ask to see you…But I really really want to see you for the last time. I have made you suffered so much that I couldn’t forgive myself. I…am ….sorry, Angel.”

Tears poured heavily from Angel’s eyes. She yelled at him and asked, “ HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?! YOU LEFT ME AND SUDDENLY YOU’RE TELLING ME YOU LEFT ME BECAUSE OF YOUR ILLNESS? DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD I’VE BEEN THROUGH TO FORGET ABOUT YOU?!?! AND NOW …RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW…YOU WANT ME TO GO THROUGH ALL THAT AGAIN? BY FEELING THE LOST IN MY HEART FOR LOSING YOU? HOW SELFISH COULD YOU GET?!?! HUH, ADRIAN?!?!”

Adrian with all his might caught hold of her hand. She felt the warmth feeling which she felt once ago. He said, “ Please forgive me…for my selfishness…and for putting you through all these…I really…really…l..llooveee…you…An..Angelll…...”

Angel cried and hugged him…She told him, “I haven’t forget about you…so please…please I beg you…Don’t leave me again…please, Adrian. I… I love you!”
With a smile on Adrian’s face, he hugged her back slowly…and said, “Thank you, my lovely Angel. I will never ever forget about you…”

A loud, continuous beep suddenly sounded. Angel was shocked and shouted, “NO ADRIAN! DON’T LEAVE ME! PLEASE…DOCTOR!!!DOCTOR!!! HURRY!!!...”

The doctor came in and tried to save him…unfortunately…they couldn’t help much… Adrian’s parents cried. Angel couldn’t believed what had happened…shocked…crying all her heart out… She walked towards him again…and hugged him…as tightly as she could. She whispered, “I …love…you…Adrian…for..
ever…”.
After the funeral, Adrian’s parents told Angel that while he’s been in the hospital for so long…he had always mentioned only one thing to them…everything and every word he said …is all about her. He requested them to bring his ashes to the beach. So his parents and Angel went there to fulfill his last wish. Angel remembered the beach very well… it was the last place where Adrian and her had their last sweet memory together. She walked towards the coconut tree…the place where they had buried the bottle. She dug it out and was surprised to find another piece of paper inside.

She took it out and something dropped out of the bottle. She took up the thing and she was surprised to see a ring…with the engraving…”Adrian & Angel 4eva” .
She read the piece of paper which was inside.


Dear Angel,

I had done the worst things in my life, which was to have met you. You had changed my entire life. I missed you every single day. I And I couldn’t forget your beautiful smile. Your sweet voice…the care you had for me…and the love between us. I want to be with you always. Never to leave your side. But it became worst day by day. My illness got more and more serious. I can’t bear to see you worry about me if you had known about it. I couldn’t bear to see the smile on your face gone just for my illness. I want you to be happy…always. I couldn’t forget what you had done towards me. I will forever and ever…remember you. Never shall I ever forget about you. I regretted about this. I regretted for making you go through all the pain alone. But I had no choice…there was never a single happiness in my life. Until the day I met you…and when you accepted me. I’m sorry to have kept this secret from you. Therefore…I had decided that … I want to break up with you. It may caused you pain for the time being…But please live on without me. I don’t have much time left. I won’t have the second chance to see you again…which is why I requested my parents to contact you just to see you once more. I may be selfish…or cruel…but Angel…please forgive me. As from now on, please forget me as I am not worth to be remembered. I hate you…for loving me so deeply…and still keep me within your heart. This ring…I made it to propose to you. But unfortunately…time doesn’t allow me to live any longer. I don’t have the luck to spend my entire life with you…but the time we had shared together will always be in my heart…and I treasured it most…Please live happily…for your own sake and mine as well… I love you…Angel…forever.

Speechless of what to say…helpless of what to act…cried out loud to seek for help…Angel hold the ring up…looked at it…and kissed it. She wore it on her “marriage” finger on the left hand. She held her hands tightly as she cried solemnly.

Years have passed, Angel is now a busy working women. She leads a wonderful and happy life as what Adrian wanted her to do. She still has the ring on her finger. She is married to only one man in her entire life…he is…Adrian. She believed that one day…she’ll meet him again…in heaven….
