Electrex 08

We had Electrex today where all the EE students esp FYP students are presenting their projects. And so for us 'noob-ies' , it was made compulsory for us to present our projects during this event... Earlier we were given a whole lot of topics to choose from. And then we had to present our project today and submit a report later on.

We were rushing and panicking earlier in noon! @@... because there were still quite a lot of information that we ourselves are not sure of~! It is not easy to consume and digest the information we got you know...because the topic is very very technical! It took me so long to just understand how the antenna actually works....but still even now I am not very certain about that...

Looks a bit weird as we stood quite far from the poster... what to do?~ ... We don't want to block our lovely antenna model pasted there! @@

We were wondering who is so daring to do that...and to our surprise... It's.....

Our LECTURER!!~~ Nothing beats a very young and energetic lecturer eh? XD~

We requested to present 2nd... because after that I need to rush to Ana lab to finish up what I had to do! And also to finish earlier... the faster the better! Now we are soooo relieved!!~~...

Luckily our lecturer never ask too many technical questions... lucky us! At least we could answer all of his doubts and questions!

Our poster... all posters are printed by e3ss... we only need to fill in the template and send to them.

Our Yagi-Uda Antenna model... made from aluminium foil~~... You have no idea how hard it is to find aluminium foil~~ when you need it of course... hehe

Last night This EARLY morning at about 1++ am.. 3 young girls went to the nearest 7 Eleven in Taman Maju... hoping to find aluminium foil there... and guess what? They were lucky! They were relieved and happily bought it and also some food for themselves~~ XD~~

And so back to the room... we constructed this model until it was 3am... @@ ... Gosh~~ Please don't say that it is ugly because I'll KILL you! Hahaha... joking~~

The driven element is more unique... because it doesn't touch the 'boom' (the horizontal 'wire') ... Hehe...we were able to make it as it is... without touching the boom physically!!~~ Hoorayyy~~~

Anyway... everything turned out well! Now I got to get myself ready for my Ana lab tomorrow! @@...
