I'm suppose to be studying wei!!~~... haha... but can't help it if I didn't blog about ICN last night!~~
This time I guess not many people went for ICN since there have been events for like every week for the past 2 weeks... 1st was the Euphonious 2008 and then FESCO 2008... and now ICN 2008... And next week will definitely be a hectic week for everyone... so my assumption was a lot of people wouldn't attend... too bad... because I find ICN 08 to be fun! Of course with all the performances and excited audiences~~
The first performance was from the Silat Cekak.

At first it looks really interesting... but as the 'play' went on longer... it was kinda boring at the end... So must always make the performance short! =P~~ who am I to judge?~~

Our beloved SOM PHONG was the EMCEE for the day!! And again he was in striking RED shirt! The last time he danced Salsa... he was in this shining, silky red top as well... it's not shirt... don't know what is it called...

Those who attended... Since the seats got taken up quite fast... Ang Khian and the rest were sitting elsewhere... Photographer: Ariff... since he was standing and at the perfect spot to help us take pics!!!

And also... my beloved sis and her piggy =P~~

The first country performed was from Cambodia. As usual... their dance were very 'soft' and 'slow-motion' .... Ayu-nyaaaa~~

The second performance was from Indonesia... They came up with 4 dances I think... They 'brought' us to several well-known places in Indonesia... and introduced us a few of those dances. The 'hula-boys' were definitely the most eye-catching ones!

Their dance for closing part...

India! Our beloved Ajitpal is the main hero of the day!!~~ ... hehe... I wished to see Elan,Siva and Shamini join in the performance too... but too bad~~ =(
Hehe... Ajit... seems like you've become stronger already!! =P~~

This performance was presented by all female dancers! The top left pic has nothing to do with the performance... I just took it from the slides~~

Hmmm... I find the sticks they used were cool... it's traffic light colours leh~~

Next NEXT~~!! The Turkmens!! I love this performance the MOST! Well... it isn't traditional dance but... I love break dance and hip hop dance! =P~~ Gomen the pics are quite blur... because they move faster than my camera snapshots! =P

Hmm... This guy seems to be the main one doing the break dance... Oh well... He did perfectly of course... The best shot of him was only the bottom left one only...~~

South Africa... I was hoping to see more lively dance from them like the previous years! They usually rock the whole crowd and makes you want to dance with them too!!! But I didn't spot a few of my favourite dancers from last year though... maybe graduated or in internship... =(

Performance from Chad... I think taking off the sheets were much better of course.. There are those really supportive and excited audiences cheering for them too! Like the one on the top right... His hands were clapping so loud and so fast that I couldn't really capture the pics nicely... XD... But you can see his hands high up in the air right? ... Whoever you are.. I salute you for your spirit! Please don't come after me for displaying this pic!

Vietnam~~... I saw Phuong performing there!! The girl in blue! She's so pretty ler~~ =P
I think she improved in dancing as compared to the last year's performance... Keep up the good work Phuong!~~

Performed by UTP dancers (UPAG i think)... Not bad~~ Something like the ones they performed in FESCO~~

Egypt used to be one of the best performance of all... Somehow things weren't the same last night... And I don't really understand the play... Somehow the guys are like fighting each other for the girl but end up all of the guys were wiped out~~... is it something like that? But there were some funny moments~~ Each time a fighter was 'dead'... someone in black would come out and pull them out of the stage~~ the two top left pics~~

I think Thailand did very well last night... their performance was the most outstanding ones and meaningful... To have a guy running out of no where from left to right... and disappeared in one of the pathway to go out... and came in carrying a princess? The top left pic... the girl looked very pretty and cute!!! Esp in that outfit! And the cblue and white cloth attached to the girl in the middle... maybe it represents water... since the dance is about Loi Loi Krathong...

When I see the slides only I remembered that my friends used to celebrate this in Kelantan!!! But I never did celebrate it before... Maybe because Kelantan is situated near Thailand and so~~ It's something got to do with lights and water... didn't really paid attention last night since bz snapping pics!! Managed to get a pic of the princess~!! Bottom right~~

Pakistan was the last country to perform...The girl on the bottom right somehow looks familiar... hmmm~~ XD

Next was the lucky draw for the couples... whoever was lucky enough would win this BIG,HUGE TEDDY BEAR!~~ Ariff on the left and Don on the right... well I seem to know something about the teddy that most of you don't!!! =P ... but i should keep it as a secret la... Don't want to make any commotions =P

This was a special solo performance by Mr Zamani... He definitely has a powerful and strong voice! And he sang so beautifully and nice~~ oldies songs... my parents would have loved it! I like it too!! =P

The closing... every representative of their country came out with the flag... I went to the ladies' room so I missed this part. Shots were taken by Ai Ting...

They sang the song 'Where is the love' by Black Eyed Peas... =X

Everyone went up on stage to have fun~~
While we went out to have some fun ourselves~~...Taking pics~!!!

A very very CUTE BABY when we were walking out... KAWAIIIiii~~~
Ok back to our own fun and pics~~

Jim, Ai Ting, me and Dean

Dean tried my camera out and so~~ I love this pic!!! Jim's hands on the right... ummm... Oh editted the pic to make it look brighter and more... real? Too much 'noise' in the pics... so not tat nice... and our faces were quite dark due to the lights... had to use effects to make it brighter~~ Thanks to photoshop~~!!

And yeah... we finally found Hui Ching!!! This pic looks nice~~

And yeah again... I noticed the guys were bending down~~ =P ...hehehe... not to make us look shorter!!~~

This time no need spot Jim la... hehehe... Actually I was just taking a pic of him that time... for fun la... and his reflex was to make this face! Kam ngam my very precious camera snapped at the right moment!!! So chun hor this pic? =P~~ ... Same like this emoticon or not? (>.<) Hahaha... Jim... don't kill me~~ XD
