This time around we suddenly decided to go Pangkor for a half day trip...we set out at 6.00 am... 2 cars since 7 of us were going... and reached about 7am at the jetty...

Lucky us when we reached we managed to catch the first boat to Pangkor! We stood at the open air area... while trying to see the sun rise...

I had fun taking pictures of the sceneries... they were so so nice~~... Here's a few pictures of the fishing villages...

We went for breakfast around the town before going down to the beach... Ta pau-ed 'Char Kuey Teow' again~~... This time it's suppose to be Thailand Char Kuey Teow... Will eat it on the beach~~

Oh well, seen enough of monkeys from uni... Oh we spotted a few dogs there instead! Managed to snap one of it only though... A lot of Taiwanese came here to camp... Looks fun!
Next, let's explore some nature wonders shall we? XD~~
Here is a big, huge rock that has the shape of a whale... The dark part is the forehead and you could see it's mouth is 'opened' from the crack behind a rock...
Now in this picture what do you see? Got to use your imaginations~~... it's a crocodile!!! Sorry this is the biggest I could upload... try looking at the picture in my facebook... it's bigger and clearer there~~
Btw, the head is pointing on the right... looks like a dwarf crocodile to me...

The girls said since it's highly saturated... the water from our body will flow out... just like amoeba which we once learnt in Biology... in short... we'll be able to lost some weight... (=.=)" lol...

Oh and we rented a jet ski for an hour - RM 160... expensive huh? Not after dividing...lol ... we took turns... and each person got to go around the huge area 2 times each...around that ... cool huh?

Daren't really go at TOP speed... since most of us aren't swimmers... although with the life jacket... it's still scary thinking how deep is the sea... but that was considered really fast!
The other day when Hui Ching and the rest went to Pangkor... they managed to see a lot of sea cucumbers!!! I was quite disappointed because on the day we went... there weren't any sea cucumbers in sight... But at last... I saw a few people found one and were playing with it...
Here comes the good part...There's an interesting story behind this... I asked Shanny to bring my camera and come over... and when they release the sea cucumber... I went and try to hold it... this is my first time seeing and touching a sea cucumber...

Shanny wanted to try holding it but before I could even pass the whole thing to her... she started screaming asking me to take it off... (=.=)"

It is serious... the story goes like this... Hui Chie, Catherine, Shanny and me were soaking in the sea water in one spot. Ariff and Hui Ching went jet skiing... and the sea cucumber caught my attention and I dragged my sister there with me...
In the picture above you can see Ariff and Hui Ching had slowed down their jet ski... but from another corner... another jet ski coming at high speed passed through them... luckily they slowed down or else both jet ski would have met with an accident...
That jet ski moved straight towards Hui Chie and Catherine... Luckily Hui Chie saw it and both of them quickly get out of it's way... the jet ski continue moving towards the area of the big rocks... where all the small young kids were swimming and playing...
Yeap... we saw it with our own eyes... I was busy snapping pictures with the sea cucumber and when suddenly everyone looked in one direction and panicked... and the jet ski renters were all running towards the big rock corner... I turned and saw the jet ski being out of controlled... I really thought it would bang the big rock there and explode... because at the speed it's going.. it's really impossible to stop in time...
Just as it reaches very very VERY close to the big rocks.... it somehow managed to stop in time... you can see there's hardly much gap between the rocks and the jet ski... everyone gathered around that area... I didn't really know what happened... but after that there was nearly a riot between the renters and the tourists...
Want to know why? Because there's a 5 year old Malay child got banged on the back by the jet ski... poor little kid... I think he/she just reached the island in about 5 mins and just started to play... but he/she got into this accident straight... well... since it hit the back...many worried it'll affect the spine... the child fainted and were sent to the hospital straight...
So who were the 2 person riding the jet ski? It's 2 young Chinese teenagers... I guessed around primary to secondary school age... The jet ski had a handle where you pressed just like the handle for motorcycle breaks... but the problem here is.. you press it to speed up... not to break for jet skis... and so... the girl in the front was actually under control I guess... somehow the girl behind panicked since they got very near to the shore and she pressed the handle even more thinking that that's the break... and so that's the whole scene...
There are a few kpc there... a whole troop of Malay tourists which had nothing to do with this was trying to make a 'scene' by blaming the renters... and of course the renters were angry since they have already briefed each and every rider how the jet ski operate... but all in all everything cooled down somehow... and the 2 teenagers got scolded badly by the mom... while the dad apologizes to the injured kid's family... the uncle sent the kid to the hospital nearby... only a few of them followed I guess...
Anyway... in this case even we the witnesses... doesn't even know who should be blame... 1st of all, I disagree that the renters should be blamed because they did brief the riders before... so that means the rider or in this case the passenger didn't listen and just panicked and pressed the 'breaks'... But you can't blame the 2 teenagers either... because they were too young to think all of this... kids/teenagers get panicked easily... and since they themselves were in the state of shock... I don't see a necessity for the mom to scold them so badly non-stop... The parents should bear responsibilities... they shouldn't have allowed 2 kids/teenagers to go on a jet ski alone... at least there should be an adult accompanying a kid/teenager at a time... so I guess it's parental guide after all...
Anyway back to my story... I was indeed grateful to the sea cucumber... haha... if it didn't caught my attention.. I would have continue soaking in the sea and did not realize the jet ski coming... but what will happen if I didn't really see the sea cucumber might turn out to be another different story... at least in this story... the sea cucumber saved my sis and my life... and when I released it back to the sea when the accident happened... and after all that commotion settled down... I couldn't find it back... I left it in quite a shallow place and since the water is so clear you couldn't missed it... Maybe it drifted back into the sea in such a short time... or maybe...? Who knows? Only God know... =)

And so... Hui Ching wasn't really that heavy since she's been pushed to Ariff... but for my side... I had to encounter being squished by both of them!!! ... (=.=)" ..Talk about double the impact hahaha... Only the elbow parts are hurtful since it's being dragged along the rough surface of the rock... Ouch!

After lunch, we went to the factory to buy those snacks and stuffs... from Teluk Nipah to the factory and then to the jetty... it cost us RM 35/van.
We were in luck because the ferry was already there when we reached... and while waiting for other passengers in the boat... I'm getting sea sick... (=.=)" ... this boat is different from the morning ones... this one is not open aired and it's damn hot inside...
A few passengers were woozy and vomited in the toilet too... Luckily I didn't throw up...
So had to drive all the way back... after a tired day... the young kids were all sleeping while me driving... how lucky of them! Lol... Shanny, Hui Chie and Catherine in my car...
the rest in Hui Ching's car...

Wow! Took me so long to just blog about a half day trip in Pangkor~~ @@ And I can't upload yet because apparently I can online but can't use it... This is so so much worst than in uni!!! Morning and evening was very fast and smooth!!! When it's late evening or night... I can connect but I can't use... (=.=)" ...
