Spirit - The Stallion of the Cimarron

I remembered Dean has been searching high and low for this show... And I know I have it somewhere at home... So I searched it during the holidays and managed to watch it all over again... I must say I really really love this movie!

" Senior Supervising Animator James Baxter (The Prince of Egypt, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast) oversaw the animation of this lead character throughout the film. Spirit's thoughts are conveyed to the audience through first-person narration by Matt Damon and songs by Bryan Adams." - All the songs are damn NICE! Downloaded... ;)

Well, it's not just because I love horses that I said this movie is excelletnt but I feel the characteristics of this particular horse is being portrayed and shown clearly and beautifully...

Spirit (the name given to the main horse) is a very brave and noble young Kiger mustang... he's born free on the open plains of the American West in the late 1800s.

He succeeded his father's role as the leader of the Cimarron herd later on. Spirit is a proud, strong stallion who is determined to maintain the freedom of his herd at any cost... including sacrificing himself. He loves to run against the eagle every time... well, wild horses are strong because they run all the time...

Then one day he was captured and the guy on top is the head officer... something like that... He is determined that he could train Spirit to be obedient like the other horses... which he failed to... No one can ever ride Spirit... that shows how proud and valuable he can be...

But at the end of the show... only 1 person can ride him... a red Indian guy who saved and also was saved by Spirit... It's a really nice story. But the red Indian set him free in the end... Because Spirit belongs to the wild... This name was given by the guy.

This horse is Spirit's... umm... future mate =P ... she belongs to the red Indian guy... She was set free with Spirit to lead a better life together...

Anyway, I had so many things to do but yet don't feel like doing it... So just find some stuffs to blog about... and oh yea, Dean... this movie is COOL!!! ... =P
