We went straight after Donkey and Hui Ching's Power Electronics 2 exam!
Went in 2 cars.
We (Donkey, Boon How, Ai Ting, Jia Min and me) went down earlier to see if there's any available tickets... which of course was sold out as I had expected...
Luckily still got booked ones~
Hui Ching, Ariff and Lenis came later on and we met up before the movie.
On the way to Jusco, it was pouring like there's no tomorrow...
Haha Donkey said maybe it's a sign since we're gonna watch 2012.
We sorta like had an early preview of the entire concept about 2012, Mayan calendar, etc etc...
Briefed by none other than our walking encyclopedia : Boon How.
So we were like discussing and shared our point of views...
Also mostly entertained by Boon How's documentaries' summaries...
Hahaha... not bad!

Different people will have different views of the movie but for me, I find it really well planned.
There were sad moments, moments I shed tears (touching), moments I was so scared and excited... got my heart pumping... haha
There were also some really short and funny scenes.
There were a scene where I remembered the everyone was laughing.
So instead of feeling excited and sad only, I find that some humor was good too.
It seems natural to me so that the movie wouldn't be too serious-like and dead bored.
Besides... it's the end of the world!
Still gotta have come humor to laugh around. =)

Hi,
Do we really believe in some sort of "change" is going to take place in 2012 based on an ancient culture? In my opinion religion was formed to explain things that were unexplainable to ancient people. Why'd it rain? The rain god made it so. Why is the person acting crazy? He has a demon.
What is my ponit?
That if there is some "shift" in thinking it will go unnoticed by the masses. Most of us won't realize it's happening until we can look back and see the paradigm shift in retrospect. I believe nothing magical or alien will happen on that day. The same way nothing happened in the year 2000 when all computers were going to fail and the second coming of Christ was supposed to happen. Movie looks interesting though.
well hey there! when it comes to this topic, i believe everyone has their own views n opinions. as for me, i dun think it is the end of the world on 2012. just a strong feeling i had. but the movie was great nevertheless.
