Makan-makan in Penang

Went for lunch the other day in Penang.
My sister brought us to this well-known curry mee shop.
Seems like it has appeared in newspapers and magazines several times.

The shop is named Hot Bowl Restaurant.
Nyonya Delights.
Serve lunch only from 8am-3pm.

What's interesting here is that the curry mee is served white in colour.
Also sometimes refered as white curry mee.

And they have this really nice and tasty chilli paste on the table.
You can add as much as you like, if you prefer it spicy.

That black sauce is actually the chilli paste.

Ta-daaa~!!
And it is really nice!
I loved it!
And sometimes they ran out of curry mee too before closing time.
If you happen to be in Penang, drop by to this shop!
It's a must try! ;)

On the same street, the corner shop at the end of the road sells this really tasty coconut jelly.
It's superb on such hot weather~!

Then for dinner, we're supposed to be having this really great belacan chicken but sadly, it was closed on that very day!
Perhaps next time then! =)
